Jon Buscemi: Birkin Inspired Sneakers

Buscemi, a new luxury footwear brand, introduces its first sneaker installment in three colorways. The Buscemi 100MM high top sneakers features a leather body with an 18k gold plated, Hermes Birkin inspired, lock and clochette. These sneakers are now available in Red, Black or White for around $800.

This 25th issue of the Frenchman's lifestyle magazine, Numéro Homme, shows crisp spring fashions with a sporty edge. Portuguese model, Fernando Cabral, covers this issue with brilliant pieces from Raf Simons, Burberry, Prada, Alexander Wang and more. The imagery alone is enough to make this magazine a must have. Now, if only I could read French.

Talk That Talk!

Stepping out today in these vibrant kicks that were brought to us by a collaboration with Reebok & artist Keith Haring. To some these kicks would look like two separate pairs of shoes. However, if you actually take a look at them you can see the coordination of colors that show that these works of art are a packaged deal.

What better way to draw attention to these eye catching shoes than with all black. I combined these shoes with my Deepstyle harem pants and 10th Tribe TENMEN shirt to create a casual and sporty look that is ideal for a few occasions. No matter where you go, when you wear these shoes, heads will turn and questions will be asked.

 

 

 

Electric Blues

If you know me, you know that I am a fan of wearing all black with an occasional white accent. However, for my  birthday outfit I had to change it up and add a pop of color. An all black suit, floral button up, and a pair of electric blue wingtip oxfords made the perfect formal outfit for my special day.

Juun J - Paris | Spring-Summer 2014

With his SS14 collection, Juun J has managed to find common ground between sportswear and casual attire. By combining oversized cropped tees with fitted shorts and trousers he creates a look that satisfies both the sportswear and the casual/formal aspects of clothing.

       

This exciting show finished, to no surprise, with the famous neoprene sweaters that Juun J is known for. These neoprene sweaters are usually the highlight of Juun J’s collection. Yet, with this particular collection, the bold football jersey inspired shirts may have stolen the show. 

     

Lately the trend of screen printed T-shirts and Jerseys that imitate sports jerseys has become viral. Many people have been creating their own versions of a basic shirt with screen printed letters and numbers. Juun J, however, has taken a different approach to this trend. While maintaining the prime aspects of the football jersey, such as the broad shoulders and use of numbering, this trend has been transformed into a more classic look that could be pulled off with a pair of shorts (as seen in the pics above) some slacks, or even trousers. However you decide to wear it, im sure it will look great!
